At Easy Ryder we are very proud of our participation in this experience and we appreciate the organizers putting their trust in us by asking us to handle the transfer services and provide attention to the Taiwanese business delegation during their tour.
Finally, after two years of pandemic, and having suspended our transportation activities, Easy Ryder started up activities again with a fantastic event held last July 1, 2022.
In 2019, a business mission to Taiwan was carried out, composed of delegations from the states of Chihuahua, New Mexico and Texas, and supported by the organizations Borderplex Alliance and the Secretary of Economic Innovation of the State of Chihuahua, in order to seek alliances and obtain suppliers for the automotive industry in general and for electric vehicles in particular.
It was only this month that it was finally possible to receive a similar visit from Taiwan, after the lifting of restrictions imposed by the pandemic,
During this visit, we had the opportunity to transport and accompany a delegation of senior executives from some of the most important companies in Taiwan, with a tour starting in El Paso TX., then going on to visit the companies Wistron and Inventec, maquiladoras [factories] located in Ciudad Juarez, and the Artificial Intelligence Center, where a conference was offered on the variety of investment opportunities and advantages that exist in the region.
This meeting represents a great benefit for the area of El Paso, New Mexico and Ciudad Juarez, since it showed Taiwanese investors how advantageous and strategic it is to make investments in the area, considering the existence of a base which is also home to two of the largest Taiwanese companies, that is, Foxconn and Pegatron.
